I agree with you, Jackal, the fact that Dr Watterston has set up this blog is a very good sign.

I also think the LNP government has done well to select somebody from interstate.

Sometimes you get the impression that Queensland senior public servants just swap jobs among themselves, and that anybody who has something to hide is given the job they need to organise a cover-up of what they did in their last job.

In this case, Dr Watterston can have nothing to hide and no favours to return.

But we must not be naive - everybody longs to be told that there is a Santa Claus - the proof will be in the pudding.

So let's wait for Dr Watterston's pudding before we begin to celebrate!
