The Teachers Are Blowing Their Whistles!

Blog

Teachers in Queensland private schools are also being bullied.

One teacher has contacted me by email to point out that over 30% of Queensland teachers are in non-government schools and that they also suffer workplace bullying.

But that the bullying in non-government schools is "covered-up" by school boards because they are anxious to preserve the "elite" image of their schools.

A parent of a student at a very prestigious school in WA has just contacted me with very similar concerns.

Would any other non-government teacher like to comment on this issue?

Not a teacher but a support staff member (now ex-employee). Yes, this particular school was very concerned wtih preserving its elite image. Was a gilded prison where staff were spied on and told on about petty issues. The teachers were either living in fear and suffered symptoms of stress, or were "brown-nosers" engineering their own promotions by backstabbing. Totally corrupt and the worst bullying I have ever witnessed and experienced
